We stayed in the Wine Press House 14-28th June 2013 and had the most fantastic time. This was our third visit to Crete but first non package. The house was equipped with everything we needed, it was very private with our own courtyard and large veranda. A short stroll to the village bakery for our morning bread or in the evenings to the local bar in the square then on to a restaurant, either in Vamos, Kalives, Almerida or Monicas in the village.
After a day exploring the mountains, Chania and surrounding areas returning to the house felt like we were arriving home. It has completely spoilt us and we would not hesitate in recommending The Wine Press House to anyone. It was a stress-free, relaxing holiday in a beautiful house and in a lovely part of Crete, Thank you Alan and Jo, we shall be returning.
