The Wine Press is a delightful house on the outskirts of Gavalohori. Beautifully presented and providing a real home from home feel about it. The verandah was a haven for our breakfast each day and that glass of wine or 2 each night. A short walk to the little village shops where you can purchase almost everything you will need and 2 fabulous Tavernas to eat in and enjoy the local hospitality.
This was our 2nd time in the village and I suspect it will not be our last. We would recommend The Wine Press without reservation – our only problem is we do not want to share it!!! It’s bliss and Alan & Jo certainly make sure that you have all the local gen to enjoy it to the utmost. Thank you so much – you sent us home ready to face the real world again!
